The intake is done (it’s the one this whole site was built from). Each rung below flips live as it goes in. Rung 1 gets pressed from the banned login by the person banned, because that is the only way any app allows it - here that is the founder, exactly as it will be you.
The rules of this page
Every filing gets posted here as a redacted screenshot within 48 hours of going in. Every reply gets posted verbatim - template denials included. Nothing here gets an ETA, because no app publishes one: most decisions land within a day, some take weeks, and a guess dressed as a date is the first lie a service tells you. If the ladder fails completely, that stays here too, permanently. A service asking you to trust it with your case should be willing to lose in public; this page is that willingness, in writing.
This ladder is shorter than it was
Two rungs came off it once the research came back. Data erasure does not touch a ban record - Tinder, Hinge and Bumble all keep those lawfully, for years - and it destroys your evidence and can kill the login the appeal itself runs on. A State Attorney General complaint logs a pattern and nothing more: Washington, Colorado, Texas and California each say in their own words that they do not investigate or resolve individual complaints. It gets filed here if it is worth the record, and it never gets sold as a lever. The BBB rung survived, demoted to what it actually is - Match Group answers ban complaints there with a template saying it cannot process appeals that way. It builds the file. It does not lift bans. When a route stops being real, it comes off here first.
The only numbers worth watching
In 2025, under EU transparency rules, Hinge reversed 36.1% of the appeals it received, OkCupid 35.7%, Match Group across all its EU brands 31.8%, Tinder 21.2% of account bans, Bumble 21.6%, Grindr 10.9% and Badoo 7.4%. Roughly one appeal in three on the Match Group brands. Those are the platforms’ own published figures, not ours - we have never claimed a success rate, and this is the page where the first one is either earned in public or isn’t.
