The “guaranteed unban” industry, dissected.
The “unban” services we could find for Tinder and Hinge sell you a new account, not your old one back. AppealMyBan is not one of them: flat fees, no promised outcome, never your password, never a new account. Here is what each model sells, and a two-minute test to run on any of them, us included.

Not everyone charging money here is a fraud
The legitimate end of this market exists. Unbanster has written ban-appeal letters since 2015, on a model it states plainly: it writes the letter, you submit it yourself. Its home turf is gaming accounts - 60+ games, World of Warcraft to Fortnite - and it sells no dating-app product at all. Its three packages were $29.99 to $49.99 in a sale when we read its shop on Monday 28th September, against $39.99 to $79.99 listed. It says it cannot guarantee an outcome, it doesn’t want your password, and it declines the cases it should decline. The two-minute vendor test - run it on us too
- Do they guarantee an outcome? An honest service can’t.
- Do they show the method before you pay? Ours is published free, in full.
- Do they publish real outcomes, including failures? Almost nobody does, and a win rate with no source behind it is marketing, not an outcome.
- Do they ask for your password? The answer that keeps your account alive is no.
- Do they name the routes, or just “the method”? A real one names the escalation team, the certified EU body that covers your app, and the access request.
- Do they refuse any cases on principle? We do.
