I got banned from Tinder with no reason given and my appeal was rejected. Which services can I pay to handle this for me, and what do they charge?

Four kinds of business will take your money for this: letter writers, case services like this one from $149 flat, solicitors by the hour, and “guaranteed unban” sellers. The “guaranteed” sellers sell a fresh account, not an appeal, and Unbanster, a letter writer, sells gaming-account letters only, at $29.99 to $49.99 on sale when we read its shop on Monday 28th September 2026. After a rejected appeal, almost all of the useful work happens outside Tinder’s own support queue.

Everything we file is outside the app, and you pay after the intake.

The short version
✓Nobody told you the reason because Tinder reserved the right not to, in writing, twice in the same document. It is the contract working as drafted, not a support failure.
✓What it costs: $0 to do it yourself, from $149 flat for the whole case run for you. The “guaranteed” sellers sell a fresh account, not an appeal, and their own refunds pay out only if you cannot create one.
✓A rejected appeal is the common outcome, not a verdict on you. Tinder reversed 21.2 per cent of the 56,991 account bans it decided under EU transparency reporting in 2025. What is left are the routes read outside Tinder’s own queue.
✓Ask any seller who guarantees the outcome what the guarantee pays out on. Ask anyone who quotes a success rate what it counted. Never give anyone your password. We do none of the three.

You are in the second phase of this, and it is a different problem from the first one. The first phase was a ban screen and a form. This phase is a market: a search result full of companies who all sound roughly the same, prices that do not explain themselves, and no obvious way to tell what each of them is selling.

We are one of the companies in that market, so read this the way you would read anything written by a vendor about its own category. Everything below is checkable on the platforms’ own help centres, on the vendors’ public pages, or in the European Commission’s register. Where the right answer is not us, the page says so.

Why were you given no reason?

Because Tinder reserved the right not to give you one, and it did so in the document you agreed to. In a clause audit of 24 dating apps that we ran on 2 September 2026, reopening every quotation at source, Tinder’s version appeared twice in the same terms: “Consistent with applicable law, you understand and agree that Tinder may not share information with you regarding your account termination if doing so would potentially impair the safety or privacy of other users.”

Read the trigger rather than the promise. It is not that telling you would endanger someone. It is that it would potentially impair someone’s safety or privacy, and it is you who understands and agrees to it. Five other Match Group brands carry a word-for-word version of the same sentence. OkCupid is the bluntest of the lot: “our policy is to not tell people why they were banned”.

There is a second, unstated reason, and it matters more to your case than the first. A great many of these decisions were taken by software, so there is frequently no written human reason in existence to send you. Tinder reported 1,536,656 automated enforcement actions in a year against 1,086,123 taken by hand. That is not a conspiracy. It is a volume problem, and it changes what a good appeal argues.

The full clause-by-clause breakdown, app by app, is on the page about that one question.

Refused once? We never send a second appeal. We file what is left.

What we file instead: an escalation to the Match Group team where your app has one, and an access request, both drafted and sent in your name, the first inside 48 hours. We never ask for your password. Intake first, payment after.

What does a rejected appeal actually close?

It closes one door, the one inside Tinder, and it is worth being precise about which one, because most people overestimate it. Tinder’s Appeals Center takes one appeal per violation and says so: you may not appeal the same violation twice. OkCupid, Plenty of Fish and Match publish the same position, and on eight brands abusing the appeals system is itself a listed ban ground, so sending the same appeal again from a second email address is a worse move than doing nothing.

Worth knowing

The single most expensive mistake after a rejection is treating it as the end of the matter and going quiet for four months. Most of the remaining routes run on their own clocks and several of them expire. The rejection is a date to work from, not a full stop.

What it does not close: the Match Group escalation team, the certified EU dispute body that covers Tinder, the data access request that makes Tinder disclose what it holds on you, and every money route attached to a subscription that kept billing. None of those sit inside the appeals queue that has just said no, and none of them care that it did.

Which services can I pay, and what do they charge?

There are four models in this market and their prices barely overlap, which makes them easy to tell apart once you know what each is actually selling.

Model Price What you are buying
Do it yourself$0Your own time. Every route we use is public and the whole method is published here, free, with nothing held back.
Letter-writing services$29.99 to $49.99 on sale at Unbanster, $39.99 to $79.99 listedA professionally written appeal letter that you submit yourself. Unbanster has run this model since 2015. Its home turf is gaming: 150-plus titles, and no dating-app product at all. Prices from its shop, read on Monday 28th September 2026.
Case servicesFrom $149 flatEvery route your case actually has, drafted, and everything a third party is allowed to send, sent in your name, with the deadlines watched. That is what this site sells.
Solicitors and lawyersHourlyAdvice on a contract that caps Tinder’s liability at the greater of $100 or what you paid Tinder in the 24 months before you file a claim, where local law allows the cap (Tinder’s Terms, section 14). Sound where real harm or defamation is in play. Rarely proportionate to a swipe app ban. When suing is worth it.
“Guaranteed unban”VariesA new account on a burner number, sold as a secret method. The refund pays out if you cannot create a fresh account, never for the one you lost. It breaches the terms, dies on device, payment and face matching, and can cost you the routes that do work.

The row people skip is the second one. Nobody can file your Tinder appeal for you, at any price, because the Appeals Center opens on your own banned login and Tinder forbids account sharing. A service offering to log in as you is quietly converting a possibly mistaken ban into a fair one. That is not a pricing question, it is a category error, and the four-way comparison sets out each model row by row.

On the “guaranteed” tier, read what the refund pays out on. On the “unban” sites we read on Monday 28th September 2026, it pays out if you cannot create a fresh account, and one of them says in its own guide that it does not recover the old banned account. We took that end of the market apart on its own page.

What is still open after a rejected Tinder appeal?

Four routes, and every one of them is read by somebody other than the queue that just rejected you. That is the whole point of them.

Two things to hold in mind about the odds. On the platforms’ own 2025 EU figures, Match Group reported 191,929 appeals with 61,109 reversed, about 31.8 per cent, at a median of 17 hours 36 minutes; Tinder alone reversed 21.2 per cent of 56,991 account bans. And the Article 21 route is in use: on Match Group’s own 2025 EU figures, 335 Tinder disputes went to these bodies, 66 decisions were reversed and 195 closed with no decision. The longer version of this list goes route by route.

Not sure any of this applies to you?

The case check is free and takes two minutes. It tells you which routes are open on your ban, including the cases where it tells you not to pay anyone.

What does AppealMyBan charge, and what does that buy?

Flat prices, set in US dollars, billed only after your intake and never before. The page you are reading is written by the team that drafts the filings, so treat this section as the pitch it is and check it against the full table.

Tier Price What is in it
The Case$149 flatEvery route found and drafted, and filed wherever a third party may file it. First filing sent within 48 hours. Every reply answered for 60 days from the first filing, money they took after the ban chased, a complaint to your data regulator if they ignore you, and one step higher if they say no. The whole paper trail is yours.
The Advocate$349 flatEverything above, plus signed letters printed and posted, your case sent to a certified EU dispute body (its decision does not bind the platform), sent within 24 hours instead of 48, replies answered for 90 days, and a written summary of the routes still open.
The Data Route$149 flatFor a case with no ban notice at all. The access request, the clean-slate request written from what the file shows, and your data regulator if the deadline passes.

What that money does not buy, and cannot: the decision. We never guarantee reinstatement, on any page, at any price, because the platform decides and nobody else does. We never ask for your password and we never log in as you. The in-app appeal, where only you can send it, is drafted for you to submit. Everything outside the app goes in your name and you are copied on each filing as it goes.

Refunds, plainly: if the first filing is late you can ask for your money back (the filing is still sent, and taking the refund ends the engagement); you are also refunded if we decline your case or if you cancel within 3 days before anything is sent. Never for the outcome, because the outcome is never promised. The refund policy has the rest, including the EU and UK 14-day right.

When should you not pay anybody?

Three situations, and in all three the honest answer is to keep your money.

If you have not yet used your one in-app appeal. On Tinder it is not even a letter. You open the Appeals Center on your own login, read the case card, and tap twice. The free guide walks the whole thing through, and paying anybody for something you can finish tonight is exactly the purchase this page exists to talk you out of.

If the ban is for something a human decided and will not move. Violence, harassment, anything involving minors. We decline those at intake and do not take the money, and a vendor with no line at all is telling you something about itself.

If the word “guaranteed” is attached, or the refund pays out on a fresh account. Run the two-minute vendor test instead. It is built to be run on us as well, which is why it lives on our own site.

Questions people actually ask

Can anyone appeal a Tinder ban for me?

Not the in-app appeal, no. Tinder’s Appeals Center opens on your own banned login, it has no text box at all, and Tinder’s terms forbid sharing an account, so any service offering to log in as you is handing Tinder a cleaner ban ground than the one you are contesting. Everything outside the app is different: the Match Group escalation team, the certified EU dispute body, the access request and the refund claims can all be sent by a third party in your name. That split is the honest answer to “can you do it for me”, and it is set out app by app here.

How much does a dating-app ban appeal service cost?

Here, from $149 flat for a case built and filed for you. The letter writer Unbanster charged $29.99 to $49.99 on sale when we read its shop on Monday 28th September 2026, for gaming accounts only. “Guaranteed unban” sellers price a fresh account, not an appeal, and their refund terms say so.

Is it worth appealing a Tinder ban twice?

Not on the same violation, and not through the same door. Tinder states that it will not consider a second appeal on the same violation, and on eight brands abusing the appeals system is itself a ban ground. What is worth doing is taking the same case to the desks that have not seen it yet: the Match Group escalation team, the certified EU body, and the access request.

Will a service tell me why I was banned?

No service can tell you, because Tinder does not tell them either. What can be done is to make Tinder disclose what it holds, through a GDPR Article 15 access request with a one-month deadline behind it. That is the only route that reliably produces something in writing, and it is included in every tier here.

Do any of these services publish a success rate?

Almost none do, and a win rate with no source behind it is marketing rather than an outcome. We do not publish one either, because we are young enough that any number would be a small-sample story. The figures worth reading are the platforms’ own EU transparency numbers: 31.8 per cent of Match Group appeals reversed in 2025, 21.2 per cent at Tinder specifically.

Should I just do a chargeback on my subscription?

No, and it is the one route we tell people not to take. Tinder’s and Hinge’s terms treat a payment dispute as grounds for closing the account, so it can turn an arguable ban into a contractually justified one, and on store-billed charges people have had their Apple account disabled over it. The correct order is to cancel at source, ask the store, then use any statutory window. The clause is quoted in full here.

What if nothing works?

Then you should know that in writing rather than guess at it, which is the last thing a case service owes you. At the end of a case here you get a written answer: what was asked, what they said, and what is left to try, including the routes that are slow, awkward or unlikely.
