Everything here goes only into your filings. Some of these answers close routes off, so answer them straight rather than well.
Already appealed? We will not resend it, and we do not repeat Match Group’s escalation desk either.
What we add in EU and EEA: A second access request aimed at what the first answer left out: the reports, the automated signals, the reason. Article 22, so a person re-decides a machine’s ban. Your data protection authority if they stall. And on The Advocate, a certified EU dispute body: a referee from outside the app.
What we add in United Kingdom: A second access request aimed at what the first answer left out. Article 22, so a person re-decides a machine’s ban. An ICO complaint if they stall, and a data complaint is the route with a published reinstatement behind it.
What we add in United States: Your state’s access and correction rights where it has them, with the deadlines tracked. The money they took after the ban, chased with whoever billed you. A BBB complaint on the public record, answered and rebutted.
What we add in Australia: A request under Australian Privacy Principle 12 for the ban record itself: the reports, the reason code, the reviewer’s notes. A correction under Principle 13, and if they refuse, your statement goes on the file. An OAIC complaint if they ignore either.
What we add in Canada: A PIPEDA access request for the ban record, with us as the contact on it. The Privacy Commissioner if it is refused or ignored. The refund from whoever billed you, and a BBB complaint on the public record.
What we add in India: The Grievance Officer complaint the IT Rules make them answer within 15 days, then the Grievance Appellate Committee, whose orders bind the app. The rules have you send both, so we write them and you press send.
Where you live: outside these countries the routes are national, and we name yours in writing before anything is filed.
Not sure it adds enough? Ask before you buy. A person answers in writing within one business day.
What this does and does not do: we make the platform disclose what it holds on you and put a clean-slate request in front of them. We do not and cannot guarantee that a profile performs better afterwards.
